W szachy można pograć i w Katmandu!

Katmandu, prawie milionowa stolica Nepalu często była świadkiem przygotowań ekip himalaistów do zdobywania kolejnych ośmiotysięczników. Tym razem do miasta zawitała liczna grupa szachistów która rywalizowała w Kathmandu Open. 

Pierwsze miejsce (zasłużenie) zajął "tylko" mistrz międzynarodowy z Indii Bharathakoti Harsha.
Na liście startowej widnieją aż 173 nazwiska! Większość uczestników pochodziła oczywiście z Indii i Nepalu ale na liście startowej nie zabrakło reprezentantów Rosji, Ukrainy, Hiszpanii czy Izraela. W końcu tekst "pojechałem do Nepalu pograć w... szachy" brzmi znakomicie!😃
